I was attending a class at the NATO School that I was sent to on short notice. Luckily, I was able to get a room here on very short. The staff did a great job of working my registration before I got there, during check-in, and when I locked my key in the room and rerurned after reception hours. It was a great full-size bed with plenty of room to do my workouts and since I was on the first floor, there was no one to disturb. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well every night. The breakfast each morning was a delicious standard Baviarian one, with your own pot of coffee for your designated table. Since this is located in the center of town, all activities and restaurants are a short walk. We got to see the Krampus visit while we were there, and it started right outside my window - a great chance happening. This deserves the Number 1 Travel Advisor ranking it had before I stayed there. This is a must stay location if you are in the Oberammergau area

Wonderfu Pension type hotel - would definitely go
Stayed 2 nights and absolutely loved. We had room 3 and it was wonderfu. Beautiful view into the back garden area. Room was very nicely furnished. Breakfast room is super nice and the breakfast spread was high-end. Close to the center and walking in multiple directions is very nice. Cute bar right across the parking lot and the Italian restaurant upstairs next to that is awesome. Breakfast lady was very nice.

I have stayed in other guest houses in O’Gau while visiting the NSO and this is my favorite by far. Helpful and flexible to manage arrival, departure and daily breakfast before the bus. Close to the bus stop, easily walkable to the school and very central for the restaurants and shops in town. Lots of friendly advice on local events and spacious super clean and cozy room with fast WiFi and plenty of power outlets too. Nothing but good comments from me. Will definitely try to return here if the opportunity arises.

Very central for walking around town, and up to or home from NSO. Attentive friendly staff and great quiet room with nice bathroom and plenty of electric outlets - would have liked more options for English TV channels but I am really being fussy now… will definitely try to get in here if I am back to NSO

I stayed for 1 week. The room was exceptionally clean, the staff was very helpful, breakfast was great. Highly recommended. Pro tip: they have guest services available in the cellar (tea kettle, coffee machine, a refrigerator for guest use, laundry facilities, etc).
